On April 12, 2025 Cornell Philosophy will be hosting another Central New York Workshop in Modern Philosophy, sponsored by the Mellon Foundation/Central NY Humanities Corridor, on the topic of women philosophers. Speakers include Karen Detlefsen, Reed Winegar, and Lauren Kopajtic. The event is free and open to the public.
Justin Steinberg and I started up the Cornell Modern Philosophy Roundtable this fall. Our first guest is Alison Simmons (Harvard), on Oct. 18. Don Garrett (NYU) will visit us in the Spring. Throughout the year, we're running a grad/faculty reading group.
